Sonoma Wines have arrived

I didn’t realize you’re allowed to bring six bottles of wine into Mexico!

I also didn’t realize you can easily buy little padded wine bottle carriers for your suitcase. Well, when we’re not in Playa Las Tortugas, we live in Northern California about 45 minutes from Sonoma and Napa Valley, so might as well bring some bottles down with us each time we visit to share with guests, right?

Our favorite winery has always been Benziger Family Winery in Sonoma. We used to take the kids up there when they were little and we’d drink wine and wander through the beautiful gardens while the kids explored. We also love them because (of course) their wine is wonderful, but also because they are a small-scale operation, and sustainability is a core value for them. They just seem like a good match for Playa Las Tortugas and the people who love it.

Anyway, we’ll do our best to visit Playa Las Tortugas as often as possible to keep the wine stocked up! And if you would like to try out our tequila, beer or wine, just place an order!
